War Memorials

Ffynnongroyw

The Ffynnongroyw War Memorial commemorates those men of the area who died during World War I and World War II.  The memorial stands in a small square opposite All Saint's parish church and was erected in 1994. Those who died in World War I were commemorated on a tablet which is now inside Canolfan Ffynnongroyw, near the present memorial.

Ffynnongroyw is a village in the community of Llanasa on the east coast of Flintshire. Between 1974 and 1996 the area was in the county of Clwyd.
