The Glyndyfrdwy War Memorial commemorates those men of the area who died during World War I. The memorial stands off the main A5 road through the village.
Glyndyfrdwy is a village on the banks of the River Dee, bewteen the towns of Llangollen and Corwen, in the county of Denbighshire. Until 1974 it was in the historic county of Merionethshire and, between 1974 and 1996, in the county of Clwyd.
The village is famous for its association with Owain Glyndwr
