The Halkyn War Memorial commemorates those men of the area who died in the First and Second World Wars. The memorial stands in the grounds of St. Mary the Virgin Parish Church and takes the form of a standing stone Celtic Cross engraved with a sword.
Halkyn (Welsh: Helygain) is a village and community in Flintshire overlooking the Dee Estuary. Between 1974 and 1996, it was in the county of Clwyd.
