The Tremeirchion War Memorial commemorates those local people who died in World War I and World War II. It takes the form of a standing Celtic Cross and was originally unveiled in 1921. The original memorial was destroyed in a car accident in 2010 but was rebuilt and rededicated on 11th November 2012.
Tremeirchion, (previously known as Lleweni and Dymeirchion), is a small residential village, community, and ecclesiastical parish in Denbighshire. It lies to the east of the city of St. Asaph, within the Clwydian Range Area of Natural Beauty. Until 1974 the area was part of historic Flintshire, and between 1974 and 1996 part of the county of Clwyd.
